Buhari Christens LNG ABUJA II In South Korea

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari has christened a new vessel, LNG ABUJA 11 acquired by the Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) in Seoul, South Korea, The Nation reports.

Last month the country sealed an agreement with Germany in a bid to establish business relationship between the two countries to increase the supply of LNG, especially in the formers shipbuilding industry.

Mrs Buhari said the new vessel will increase growth and bring about stability in the countries exporting sector.

“For example ,more than $10 million dollars was generated from the export of quality Nigerian materials to Korean shipyards ”

“I stand by this principle because that is how great countries like South Korea were built”.

According to Mrs. Buhari, though Nigeria is facing tough times, she is optimistic that the Buhari’s admiistration will keep on striving to create jobs,increase human capital, Provide security and development and deliver both long and short term value.
It is on record that Nigeria annually produces 22 million tonnes of LNG per sold to North America and Europe by the ships.
LNG ABUJA 11 vessel was built by SAMSUNG AND HYNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES South Korea .
