Nigerian Breweries released its financial results for the year end December 31, 2015. The result showed that revenue rose by 10.3% from N266.3 billion in 2014 to N293.9 billion in 2015, while the company increased its expenses fron N70 billion in 2014 to N80 billion in 2015.
Profit before tax however dropped by 11.3% from N61.4 billion to N54.5 billion in 2015, while Profit after tax dropped by 10.5% from N42.5 billion in 2014 to N38 billion in 2015.
Nigerian Breweries also proposed a final dividend of N3.60. The company announced that the closure date is between 3rd March, 2016 to 9th March, 2016.
The Annual General Meeting is scheduled to hold on the 11th of May, 2016, while the payment date will be on the 12th of May, 2016.
Nigerian Breweries share price was trading at N97.01, up 0.99% as at press time.
