The final death toll of Boko Haram suicide bombings in Cameroon on Friday was 25, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

Local newspaper, L’Oeil du Sahel, said the double suicide bombing occured at Meme market, just 13 kilometres from the town of Mora in Cameroon’s far north killed 25 people in all.

Similar bomb attacks in recent times have left dozens killed.

Boko Haram has stepped up attacks in Cameroon and Nigeria in recent weeks, killing hundreds of people, burning women and children alive and sending many away from their homes even as the Nigerian government claimed that the terrorists have been decimated.

SimonAtebaNews will bring details as they unfold.
