Lagosians living in the inland parts of the state will soon be adequately informed about the activities of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, said on Monday.

Mr. Ayorinde said the Ministry is working closely with the office of the special adviser to the governor on community communications to further expand the reach of government information and involve those living in rural areas in the business of government.

He made the disclosure while receiving members of the State House of Assembly Committee on Information & Strategy who paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry in line with their oversight function.

He said that the Ministry had been in the forefront of harnessing all means of communication in order to reach out to Lagosians in all parts of the State.

This is in addition to its robust online platforms to engage a critical segment of the people.
