Authorities have arrested Mr. Ahmed Salkida, one of the three people declared wanted by the Nigerian Army, for allegedly violating the anti-terrorism law of the country, .
He was arrested on Monday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, reports said.
Operatives of the State Security Service, SSS, took him into custody as soon as he showed up at the door of the Emirates flight EK 785, reported online newspaper, Sahara Reporters.
The newspaper said a “passenger seated next to Salkida during the journey informed SaharaReporters that Salkida was nervous throughout the flight”.
The journalist had vowed to travel to Nigeria from his base in Dubai after he published the latest Boko Haram video showing some of the Chibok girls.
The authorities have accused him of complicity and of violating an anti-terrorism law.
