In fact, the entire market is being artificially boosted (not suppressed) by the manipulation you speak of. What do you think will happen to the price when that upward manipulation ends? All you take notice of is the occasional takedown buy a large dump once in awhile. But those takedowns are only short-term, yet that’s all you seem to focus on.
If physical is so valuable then why is it selling for a $40 discount from spot (paper) in India? Gold in India has being selling at an average $22 discount this entire year. India is the second largest gold market in the world, so it’s a robust market. A few years ago, gold was selling for up to a $100 premium, but no longer.
So why is physical now selling, country wide, in India, at a discount?
